Please refrain, guys, it’s still a fledgling story. The characters aren’t fleshed out in the comic enough to have any of your headcanons be accurate, and it’s a really intense mood kill…
Okay I’m going to stand on my soap box here and defend both sides.
First, let me say that I have written fanfiction for a webcomic that is currently still in-progress. Let me also add that the first thing I did was cry, worry, and send it to the original artist. (This was not a raunchy sex scene kind of fanfiction, btw, before you ask.) She liked it; she said I’d stayed very true to the characters’ personalities. If she’d expressed disapproval, obviously I would have taken it down. Duh.
And yes, I admit. Sometimes while I’m reading TOY I feel like jumping into a character’s shoes and writing out an inner monologue for any particular scene. Hell, I probably will at some point, post it on Yaoify-Everything, throw it at Suzana&Owen, and be like “HEY YOU WANT ME TO BURN THIS OR WHAT,” cause that’s just what I do. Gratuitous sex? No. I’m leaving that to my own characters.
And speaking of my own characters, I’m gonna defend the artists here. I am writing this story about a character I’ve had for about 4 years now, and if someone I didn’t know just randomly threw my baby Nourr in bed with someone (EVEN IF it was his boyfriend), I would be pissed. You wanna fluff about Nourr and Zak? Fluff all you want. But once clothes start coming off, I will foam at the mouth. I will climb in yo windows and snatch you up.
… Alright. Soapbox time is over.
